Police Blotter

On Jan. 26, 2018, on Monroe Orleans County Line Road in Brockport, Investigator Gifaldi of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Anthony Joseph Rios, 65, of Brockport, with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was remanded to the Jail on $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond bail and was scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court.

On Jan. 29, 2018, Holley Police charged Lillia F. Ives, 37, of Albion, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Stop Lamps. She was arraigned at Town of Murray Court on Feb. 15.

On Jan. 31, 2018, at the Albion Wal-Mart, Deputy Narburgh of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Carolyn Farrell, 74, of Albion, with Petit Larceny. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court.

Medina Police Department charged Sedrick Cunningham, 33, of Medina, on Jan. 31, 2018, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; Speeding; and Unlicensed Operator. Cunningham was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return March 1 to Shelby Town Court.

Medina Police Department charged Shaquille Poole, 23, of Medina, on Jan. 31, 2018, with Speeding and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Poole was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return March 1 to Shelby Town Court.

On Feb. 1, 2018, on Meadowbrook Drive in Albion, Deputy Hazel, assisted by Deputy Marsceill of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office and APD Officer McElhinny, charged Kevin Shaw, 26, of Rochester, with three counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd; and having an Uninspected Motor Vehicle. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court.

On Feb. 2, 2018, at the Albion Wal-Mart, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Kaitlyn Blount, 27, of Albion, with Burglary 3rd and Petit Larceny. She was arraigned in the Town of Albion and released on her own recognizance. She was scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court.

Medina Police Department charged Casey D. Hayes, 28, of Middleport, on Feb. 2, 2018, with Criminal Contempt 1st Degree; Criminal Mischief 4th Degree; Menacing 2nd Degree; Burglary 2nd Degree; and Criminal Possession a Weapon 4th Degree. Hayes was arraigned and held on no bail and was scheduled to return Feb. 5 to Ridgeway Town Court.

On Feb. 2, 2018, Holley Police arrested Joshua L. Luce, 30, of Holley, on the execution of a bench warrant out of the Holley Police Department. He was arraigned at Town of Murray Court on Feb. 5.

Medina Police Department charged Shon W. Moore, 37, of Medina, on Feb. 3, 2018, with Aggravated Harassment 2nd Degree. Moore was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return March 1 to Shelby Town Court.

On Feb. 5, 2018, on Maple Ridge Road in Medina, Deputy Fox of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged a 16-year-old male, of Medina, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to the Town of Shelby Court.

On Feb. 6, 2018, Holley Police charged Jeffrey B. Dickinson, 31, of Holley, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, and Failure to Yield Right of Way to Pedestrian in Crosswalk. He is to be arraigned at Town of Murray Court on Feb. 22.

On Feb. 6, 2018, Holley Police charged James S. Nottingham, 37, of Holley, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree, Operation of a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% or More Alcohol in Blood: 1st Offense, Operation of a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% or More Alcohol in Blood: 2 priors, and Driving While Intoxicated: 1st offense. He was arraigned at Town of Murray Court and remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $1000 bail.

On Feb. 8, 2018, Holley Police charged Camron K. Thorn, 19, of Holley, with 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He is to be arraigned at Town of Murray Court on Feb. 19.

On Feb. 8, 2018, on Route 31 at Gaines Basin Road in Albion, Sergeant Foeller, assisted by Deputy Tooley and Deputy Papponetti, of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Fabian Torres, 27, of Illinois, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle; and several Traffic Violations. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court.

On Feb. 9, 2018, at the Albion Wal-Mart, Sergeant Colonna assisted by Deputy Pahuta of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged David Brege, 31, of Medina, with Petit Larceny. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court.

On Feb. 9, 2018, on Newport Drive in Murray, Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Troy Hubler, 47, of Murray, with Harassment 2nd, Physical Contact. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court.

Medina Police Department charged Haley M. Merrill, 25, of Medina, on Feb. 9, 2018, with Attempted Petit Larceny and Trespass. Merrill was arraigned and held on $2,500 bail and was scheduled to return Feb. 22, 2018, to Shelby Town Court.

Medina Police Department charged Maurice McGill, 33, of Batavia, on Feb. 12, 2018, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Failed to Keep Right. McGill was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return in March to Shelby Town Court.

On Feb. 13, 2018, Holley Police charged Margaret L. Neu, 46, of Holley, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree, Circumvent Interlock - Subject to Court Order - Operation of a Motor Vehicle without Device, and No/Inadequate Directional Signals. She is to be arraigned at Town of Murray Court on March 1.

On Feb. 14, 2018, Holley Police charged Ashley L. Verhagen, 28, of Holley, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, Operation of a Motor Vehicle without Financial Security, and Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Registration Suspended. She is to be arraigned at Town of Murray Court on March 5.

On Feb. 14, 2018, Holley Police arrested Vincent F. Vaccarelli, 30, of Brockport, on the execution of two bench warrants out of the Holley Police Department. He was arraigned at Town of Murray Court and remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of a total of $3000 bail. He is due back in court on Feb. 21.

Medina Police Department charged Shon Moore, 37, of Medina, on Feb. 14, 2018, with Harassment 2nd Degree. Moore was arraigned and was scheduled to appear March 1 in Shelby Town Court.

Medina Police Department charged Kyle Liao, 32, of St. Catharines, Canada, on Feb. 16, 2018, with Driving While Intoxicated; Driving with .08 of 1% or More Blood Alcohol Content; and No/Insufficient Tail Lamps. Liao was released and was scheduled to return March 26 to Ridgeway Town Court.

On Feb. 16, 2018, on Maple Ave in Lyndonville, Deputy Fox of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Tyler Cornelius, 25, of Lyndonville, with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd and Harassment 2nd. He was remanded to the Jail on $500 cash, $1,000 bond and was scheduled to return to the Town of Yates Court.

On Feb. 16, 2018, on Monroe Orleans County Line Road in Murray, Deputy Fox of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Caz White, 24, of Brockport, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Failure to Stop at Stop Sign. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court

Medina Police Department charged Tammy Scharping, 51, of Lyndonville, on Feb. 18, 2018, with Driving While Intoxicated; Driving with .08 of 1% or More Blood Alcohol Content; No Distinctive Plates; and Drove Across Hazard Marking. Scharping was released and was scheduled to return March 22 to Shelby Town Court.

Medina Police Department charged Phillip Walls II, 37, of Medina, on Feb. 19, 2018, with Harassment 2nd Degree. Walls was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return March 1 to Shelby Town Court.

Medina Police Department charged Keith Lewandowski, 27, of Albion, on Feb. 19, 2018, with Harassment 2nd Degree. Lewandowski was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and was scheduled to return May 3 to Shelby Town Court.
