The students have been volunteering out of the Orleans/Niagara BOCES’ class for several years, and this year’s juniors and seniors stepped up to the plate as well to volunteer their time and services.  Security and Law Enforcement graduate and current officer in the US Border Patrol Kenny Allore, and fellow security staff member Jeff Palmer came to the center to show their appreciation for the students’ hard work. “We were very impressed with the students’ professionalism,” said Officer Allore. “They were responsible for conducting access at the gates, patrolling the festival grounds, crowd control for the concerts and parade, ensuring the integrity of the perimeter fence line and assisting our elderly and disabled guests. They did an outstanding job in protecting the safety of our attendees.  We are very appreciative of them giving up their weekend to volunteer to help us out.”
